Hi! My name is Susan I'm an AAAA member but not the youngest because my sister is. She's 10 and I'm 12. There are several other underage (under 18) members too.
Our club is very large but could be bigger. We meet at the Dekalb County Library once a month, on the first Thursday of the month. New members join all the time and in the spring the numbers should increase because we'll have our local workshop and auction on April the 28 and 29.
At the work shop we draw and sell raffle tickets, listen to speakers, have a fish show, and hang around with other fish nuts. On Friday night, April 27, we'll have a dinner at the Macaroni Grill with the speakers, so you can talk to them. Then on Saturday and Sunday we have the speakers, the raffle, the fish show, and the auction. For dates and times for everything you can click here.
Next summer in the year 2002 our "little" club will host the annual, and national, ACA workshop, which is pretty much like our spring workshop except a lot bigger and longer. It also has a hospitality suite where beer (for those of age), sodas, and refreshments will be served to ACA members.
Well that's all for now. If you want more information on the club, workshop, and ACA convention visit our club website by clicking here , look around our site, or call my family at (770)-725-9223. Oh, if you visit our club and think we are a little crazy that's OK, because some of us are.(In a good way.)
